The goal of this assignment is for you to create a podcast. You will create a podcast using sound recorder and you will also create one at Podomatic.com.

DIRECTIONS FOR SOUND RECORDER

First you should make a minimum of a 15 second recording introducing yourself using SOUND RECORDER (found in the Start menu > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder). Save this file as podcast.wav and FTP it to your web site.

Make a link to the file from your "Web Tools: Blogs, Wikis, & Podcasts" page. Title the link "My Podcast Using Sound Recorder"
The address of the link will be http://myweb.bloomu.edu/yourlogin/podcast.wav

DIRECTIONS FOR PODOMATIC.COM

You should establish an account at Podomatic.com. You must register on this site and confirm it through your email.

Once you are logged in, click on "Post a New Episode" and upload your podcast.wav file.

Next, click on "Share Podcast"

Next, click on "Post to Your Social Network"

Next, post to your blog by choosing "Blogger" and you will be prompted to enter the login and password for your blog.

Make a link to the Podomatic.com from your "Web Tools: Blogs, Wikis, & Podcasts" page. Title the link "My Podcast Using Podomatic.com"
The address of the link will be http://yourname.podomatic.com
